Our Coverage and Roadmap
Lifepanel is currently live in six European countries: Austria, Germany, Malta, North Macedonia, the Netherlands, and Spain with more countries being added and maintained throughout the year.
While the main verification is an actual phone call, we additionally leverage SMS & WhatsApp as pre-notification and reminders to join the panel. Email address is collected during the recruitment process and used as additional channel for survey invitations.
Realtime Demographics - Full Transparency
For our panels we offer clients full reporting on our panel demographics, demographics of respondent invited to a survey, the demographics of the completed interview and lastly the demographics of non-completes.
Lifepanel follows the OECD standard education level for all its countries. That allows comparability between the countries.
Age Band Distribution
Lifepanel recruits from 16 and older and uses four age bands. The age distribution differs. per recruitment mode.
Next to male and female, we also provide the option for other. Gender distribution differs by recruitment mode.
The occupation status makes use of seven different options and is updated every half a year by our respondents.
Multi-Mode recruitment yet probability-based.
We apply a fully probabilistic approach to recruitment from a Dual-Frame RDD Sample – completely phone verified, but apply multi-mode sampling from within our panel via landline, mobile, SMS and WhatsApp, maximizing response rates this way. Another benefit is the fact that different segments of the population prefer different means of communication – multiple modes of contact using the same way thus also increases representation.
